BEHIND THE CURTAINS:
SWAG'S FAVOURITE WINDOW TREATMENTS PROJECTS
For us, every project is a journey, and certain ones hold a special place in our hearts. Today, we're pulling back the curtains to share our team's favourite projects. Each of these projects tells a story, not just of design and craftsmanship, but of the passion, creativity, and dedication that our team brings to every space we transform.
Join us as we take a closer look at these standout moments in our work, and discover how SWAG’s bespoke window treatments have made a lasting impact on both the spaces and the people who live in them.
1. Battersea Power Station
Our long-standing relationship with Battersea Power Station has allowed us to contribute to over 100 projects, providing bespoke window treatments for exceptional show apartments. This development has become a favourite among our team, especially our installers. The combination of airy voiles in the living areas and blackout curtains in the bedrooms creates a cohesive and refined look that perfectly complements each space.
"One of my favourites is Battersea Power Station. I feel it's one of the best developments in London." – Shane Devlin
"It’s a favourite among the installers due to the easy access and solid wood support in the ceilings." – Dwane Martin
2. Marylebone Mansions
The development of three show homes at Marylebone Mansions with A.LONDON has been a remarkable project. These projects truly stand out for their perfect blend of innovative design and meticulous craftsmanship. The curtains, especially in the reception areas, were crafted from high-quality fabrics that beautifully complemented the multiple windows, enhancing the overall elegance of the space.
3. Old Abbey House Hotel
Our work at the Old Abbey House Hotel, in collaboration with our AGC BTR team, was one of our most creative projects. Tasked with fitting out the FF&E and window treatments in this listed building, we faced the challenge of preserving the hotel’s heritage while working on its numerous windows. The end result was a perfect blend of tradition and modernity.
"The end result was fantastic, and we had a very happy client."
- Shane Devlin
4. The Broadway
Located in the vibrant heart of Westminster, The Broadway is a stunning development by Northacre, featuring six elegant residential towers. Our work on The Broadway I & II, curated by our design team at BoxNine7, stands out for the way our window treatments harmonised with the unique window designs. The final result was impressive.
"After the furniture installation was completed, together with the window treatments, the final project was truly remarkable." - George Litsolari
